Clash at the Castle 2024 Viewers’ Guide
The superstars are once again heading abroad for a PLE. This time, the WWE is going to Scotland for Clash at the Castle 2024.
When is Clash at the Castle 2024?
As with other international PLEs, wrestling fans in the US will have to adapt to an earlier start time than normal. Scottland is five hours ahead of Eastern time, so the PLe starts in the early afternoon.
Clash at the Castle starts at 1:30 p.m. Eastern on Saturday, June 15th. There are five matches currently scheduled, so there should be plenty of action in this PLE.
2024 WWE Clash at the Castle Match Card
WWE’s third consecutive international card for the main roster is stacked with exciting matches. Here are the five matches currently scheduled for Clash at the Castle 2024.
Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill (c) vs. Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn vs. Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships
Bayley (c) vs. Piper Niven for the WWE Women’s Championship
Sami Zayn (c) vs. Chad Gable for the WWE Intercontinental Championship
Cody Rhodes (c) vs. AJ Styles for the Undisputed WWE Championship
Damian Priest (c) vs. Drew McIntyre for the World Heavyweight Championship
The Undisputed Title match between Cody Rhodes and AJ Styles will be an “I Quit” match. Also, Judgement Day is barred from ringside in the Damian Priest vs. Drew McIntyre match.
Clash at the Castle 2024 Odds
You can make any of the five title fights at this event even more exciting by betting on the outcome. Here are the latest Clash at the Castle odds, courtesy of Lucky Cola Sportsbook.
Title Match | Favorite | Underdog | Prediction |
WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles | Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair (-2000) | Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn (+750) | Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair (-2000) |
WWE Women’s Championship | Bayley (-3000) | Piper Niven (+850) | Bayley (-3000) |
Intercontinental Championship | Chad Gable (-150) | Sami Zayn (+110) | Chad Gable (-150) |
Undisputed WWE Championship | Cody Rhodes (-2000) | AJ Styles (+750) | Cody Rhodes (-2000) |
World Heavyweight Championship | Damien Priest (-120) | Drew McIntyre (-120) | Damien Priest (-120) |
Lucky Cola also has odds available on matches that are not yet confirmed for this event, including:
- Gunther (-1000) vs. Randy Orton (+550)
- Solo Sikoa (-700) vs. Kevin Owens (+400)
- Sheamus (-700) vs. Ludwig Kaiser (+400)
- Logan Paul (c) (-1500) vs. LA Knight (+700) vs. Carmelo Hayes (+750)
Any of the matches above would be great additions to the 2024 Clash at the Castle card. The confirmed matches alone offer plenty of thrilling betting options.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles
- Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair (c) (-2000)
- Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn (+750)
The WWE is using the Women’s Tag Team Titles to try to build a superstar out of Jade Cargill. She won the titles with Bianca Belair at WrestleMania XL, and the pair successfully defended their belts on the King and Queen of the Ring pre-show.
Cargill and Belair are listed at -2000 to retain their belts this weekend in a triple-threat tag team match. The closest challengers are the Unholy Union, Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn, at +750. Winning a triple threat will help add credibility to Cargill and Belair’s reign and give them a chance to show off on the PLE main card.
Prediction: Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair (c) retain (-2000)
WWE Women’s Championship
- Bayley (-3000)
- Piper Niven (+850)
Another women’s champion looking to extend their reign is the WWE Women’s Champion Bayley. Like the Belair and Cargill, Bayley won her championship at WrestleMania XL. Bayley won a triple threat at Backlash France and is looking for her second PLE title defense this weekend.
WWE has been building toward a match between Bayley and the new Queen of the Ring, Nia Jax, at SummerSlam. Piper Niven is a good challenger, but she is listed at +850 for a reason. There has not been much build up to make Piper a legitimate challenger, and I think Bayley pulls out the win this weekend.
Prediction: Bayley retains the WWE Women’s Championship (-3000)
Intercontinental Championship
- Chad Gable (-150)
- Sami Zayn (+110)
Up next is the Intercontinental Championship between Sami Zayn (c) and Chad Gable. Zayn beat Gable and Bronson Reed at King and Queen of the Ring. However, he is an underdog at +110 to retain this weekend against Gable.
Gable would have been a great pick to beat Gunther for the title at WrestleMania, but the WWE went with Sami instead. A big reason for that could be Gable’s contract, which expired this month.
Other stars with expiring contracts, such as Becky Lynch and Ricochet, were written off of TV. Gable has been featured prominently and is getting a title shot. The two sides have made progress, and I think Gable will sign a new contract and win the title this weekend.
Prediction: Chad Gable wins the Intercontinental Championship (-150)
Undisputed WWE Championship
- Cody Rhodes (-2000)
- AJ Styles (+750)
The “I Quit Match” between Cody Rhodes and AJ Styles can easily be the match of the night. Rhodes feels destined to hold the belt until at least WrestleMania 41, though, and is listed as a -2000 favorite at WWE Clash at the Castle 2024.
Styles, on the other hand, is a +750 underdog this weekend in Glasgow. This should be a great match and should be on the brutal side, given the kayfabe animosity between the two. In the end, Rhodes will win and continue his reign as the Undisputed WWE Championship.
Prediction: Cody Rhodes retains the Undisputed WWE Championship (-2000)
World Heavyweight Championship
- Damien Priest (-120)
- Drew McIntyre (-120)
Last but not least, there is the match for the World Heavyweight Championship. Damian Priest (c) and Drew McIntyre are both listed at -120 to win this match. Losing back-to-back title matches at Clash at the Castle events in Europe will be tough for McIntyre, but I think Priest retains this weekend.
McIntyre won a match on RAW to bar Judgement Day from ringside, but that does not include CM Punk. Punk has already cost McIntyre the belt once, and I think he will interfere again this weekend, adding more fuel to the feud between the two stars. Priest wins, setting up a match between him and Gunther at SummerSlam.
Prediction: Damien Priest retains the World Heavyweight Championship (-120)
